FAQ
One request is a single, well-defined improvement or change to your BidBook and/or Salesforce instance. Typical examples include updating a bid template, creating or modifying a report/dashboard, building a simple Flow, importing or cleaning up data, page layout changes or adjusting user permissions.
Requests are scoped to be completable within roughly one 8-hour technical day. If your idea is bigger, we’ll break it down into smaller, manageable requests so you still get fast turnaround. Iterations or revisions based on your feedback count as new requests. This approach keeps delivery predictable and ensures high quality every time.
We designed the program for steady, continual improvement — not large one-off projects. If a request exceeds our standard scope (roughly 8–12 technical hours), our Business Analyst will work with you to:
- Break it into smaller logical parts that fit the 3-business-day turnaround, or
- Recommend handling it as a separate fixed-fee project outside the subscription.
This keeps your monthly fee predictable and prevents delays. Premium plan customers have more flexibility for complex work like advanced Flows, AI Agents, or light coding.
Yes. Our plans are month-to-month (or annual with a 10% discount). You can cancel with 30 days written notice before the end of your current billing period. There are no long-term contracts or early termination fees.
Many clients stay long-term because they see continuous value, but you’re never locked in. Simply email support@bidbooksoft.com to cancel.
Your dedicated US-based Business Analyst acts as your personal gatekeeper and advocate who understands your business. They:
- Review every request for completeness and clarity within 1 business day
- Ask the right questions to fully understand your goal and avoid misunderstandings
- Translate your construction/business needs into precise technical requirements for the offshore team
- Manage light project coordination and set realistic expectations
- Ensure the delivered work actually solves your problem
This “white glove” step is what makes the service reliable and stress-free — you get faster, higher-quality results without having to write perfect technical specs yourself.
Most requests follow this timeline:
- 1 business day for the US Business Analyst to review and clarify your request
- 2 business days for the technical team to build, test, and deliver
- Total: 3 business days from the time your request is fully scoped and handed off.
We prioritize clear communication so there are no surprises.
There is no hard limit on the number of requests you can submit (unlimited). However, we manage workload with fair-use guidelines:
- Pro Plan: Only 1 active request at a time per customer
- Premium Plan: Up to 2 active requests at a time per customer
Once a request is delivered and approved, you can submit the next one. This ensures fast turnaround for everyone.
Your satisfaction is our priority. If the delivered work doesn’t meet the agreed acceptance criteria, the technical team will revise it promptly at no extra cost.
If the issue stems from unclear original requirements, we’ll treat the revision as a new request. In rare cases of major dissatisfaction, we’ll work with you to make it right — including re-scoping or additional support.
No. You only need to describe the business outcome you want in plain English (e.g., “I want the bid template to automatically calculate margins and highlight high-risk items”). This is called the "Use Case Story". Our US Business Analyst will handle the technical translation and ask follow-up questions if needed. This is one of the biggest advantages of the service — you don’t have to be a computer engineer or Salesforce expert.
Remember in a Use Case Story to include Who, What, When, Result, Business Objective. Screen Shots with drawings. Photos. Referring to specif records by URL. These all are helpful to realizing your vision come to fruition.
Security is extremely important to us. We use secure portals for all request submissions. Technical work is performed in your Salesforce sandbox first (never directly in production without your approval). All team members are bound by strict NDAs, and we follow industry-standard security practices.
Traditional time-and-materials consulting often leads to budget surprises and slow progress. With our flat monthly fee, you get predictable budgeting, unlimited scoped requests, fast 3-day turnaround, and dedicated oversight from a US Business Analyst. It turns occasional fixes into continuous improvement — helping your team win more bids and operate more efficiently every month without the hassle of approving invoices or tracking hours.
